Nursery Room Leader

Salary: £25,758

Full time 37.5 hours a week (worked between 8.00am and 6.00pm)

12 month fixed-term contract

We’re recruiting for a new member of staff for our nursery team, a Room Leader for a 12 month contract starting in July 2026.

You’ll need a level 3 qualification in early years education/childcare, with recent practical experience. Our nursery is based in the centre of Wolverton providing affordable and flexible childcare for the local community. Our provision is also a learning environment for young people engaged with our education programme, so there is also an expectation to support and nurture our trainees who are an important part of our team.

The Learning Team

Functional skills volunteer

Do you have a passion to assist young people to reach their full potential by helping them to develop their ability in English and Maths? Would you like to use your skills and experience to provide a refreshing approach to tutoring Maths and English in ways that engages the young people and helps to build their confidence? Would you be happy to provide one-to-one and small group support as well as working empathetically with those who have additional learning needs or specific barriers to learning?

If the answer to these questions is yes please consider becoming a functional skills volunteer and joining our Learning and Trainee Support Team. If you are interested in this role, we’d love to hear from you!
