Salary: £25,758

Full time 37.5 hours a week (worked between 8.00am and 6.00pm)

12 month fixed-term contract

1:1 Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £17,667

Hours: Part time and Term Time (26.25 hours a week – Required hours: 8.30am-4.30pm
Tues, Weds and Thurs, 8.30am-12pm Fri. Fixed Term Contract (September 2026-July 2027)

Looking for a meaningful, hands-on role where you can truly make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a young person with SEND across their functional skills classes and market gardening placement at The Urb Farm. If you love working outdoors, aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, and have the passion to help a learner build vital life and social skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Functional skills volunteer

Do you have a passion to assist young people to reach their full potential by helping them to develop their ability in English and Maths? Would you like to use your skills and experience to provide a refreshing approach to tutoring Maths and English in ways that engages the young people and helps to build their confidence? Would you be happy to provide one-to-one and small group support as well as working empathetically with those who have additional learning needs or specific barriers to learning?
