GROWING PEOPLE AT URB FARM
Growing People is a horticultural social enterprise growing food for the local community all year round. We are no dig, do not use any chemicals, and we grow high quality produce all year round. You can find us in the heart of Wolverton at the Urb Farm, Milton Keynes.
- Together with our trainees and volunteers we maintain 18 large growing beds, four polytunnels, greenhouses and an orchard all year round.
- We grow a wide range of vegetables and fruit using environmentally sensitive techniques, working with the seasons and local climate here in the Southeast. All of our produce is cultivated on site with zero food miles from field to market.
- Veg Bags can be purchased on the shop section on the website, and collected from the farm. The weekly market is open every Tuesday from 10am to 4pm. The Urb Farm can be found between 196-198 Windsor Street, Wolverton, MK12 5DR.
- During the colder months staff and trainees make items such as bird boxes, bee hotels and festive decorations that we then sell throughout the year.
