Market Gardener – Urb Farm Social Enterprise

Salary: £23,810

Full time 37.5 hours a week

Urb Farm Collective Team Member

Part Time 17.5 hours per week
Salary:  £23,810 FTE (£11,905 for 17.5 hours per week)

Responsible to the Urb Farm team leader

We are looking for a new Team Member to join our Urb Farm Collective.

The Urb Farm Collective is made up of three social enterprises – The Urb Farm market garden, Think Food café and Urban Bee-lievers beekeeping enterprise. Collectively these small businesses work with young people to explore sustainable, local community alternatives to growing food, caring for pollinators and creating delicious meals and cakes from the farm produce and honey.

A key part of this role is training and supervising 16-19 year olds as part of Milton Keynes Christian Foundation’s learning and work experience programme.

Work Placement and Progression Coordinator

Salary: £19,600 (£24,500 FTE)

Part time 30 hours a week – working pattern to be agreed

Functional skills volunteer

Do you have a passion to assist young people to reach their full potential by helping them to develop their ability in English and Maths? Would you like to use your skills and experience to provide a refreshing approach to tutoring Maths and English in ways that engages the young people and helps to build their confidence? Would you be happy to provide one-to-one and small group support as well as working empathetically with those who have additional learning needs or specific barriers to learning?
