Russell has over 10 years of experience as a popular speaker to Gardening Clubs with a reputation as an entertaining and engaging speaker. He has tended a large allotment for over 30 years. His specialities are no-dig gardening, pumpkins and squashes and soil improvement. He has now retired from teaching Biology for 39 years and his degree is in Crop Science. He was invited to be on the panel of experts on BBC Radio 4’s Money Box Live programme 4th May 2022.
Russell will be giving a talk about a subject very dear to the hearts of the Urb Farm staff – ‘No Dig Gardening’.
