Kitchen Team Leader – Think Food Social Enterprise

Salary: £20,320, 37.5 hours a week, Permanent

Do you have experience baking bread and cakes?
Have you devised and created vegan and vegetarian dishes?
Do you enjoy sharing your passion for healthy and nutritious food?

We’re looking for a new member of our Think Food social enterprise team. The Kitchen Team Leader is responsible for the smooth running of food preparation and production to support the Think Food cafe in the heart of Wolverton. The Kitchen Team Leader will also help to provide outside catering services to local businesses and organisations.

A key part of this role is training and supervising 16-19 year olds as part of Milton Keynes Christian Foundation’s learning and work experience programme.

Cycle Mechanic – Cycle Saviours Bicycle Workshop

Salary: £20,320, 37.5 hours a week, Permanent

Do you have a passion for bicycles and cycling? Are you a qualified cycle mechanic with a Cytech qualification and experience working in a bike shop? Do you enjoy sharing your enthusiasm for bikes with others?

We’re looking for a new member of our Cycle Saviours social enterprise team. The Cycle Mechanic is responsible for bike repairs, servicing and refurbishment as well as supervising others. Along with selling bikes from our shop the Cycle Mechanic will help to run the Dr Bike mobile repairs service for the local community.

Market Gardener – Urb Farm Wolverton

Salary: £20,320, 37.5 hours a week / part-time hours considered, Permanent

Do you have a passion for growing seasonal fruit and vegetables in an environmentally friendly way?
Are you experienced in food growing and looking to use your knowledge and experience within an urban farm?
Do you enjoy sharing your enthusiasm growing food with others?

We’re looking for a new member of our Urb Farm social enterprise team. The Market Gardener will be responsible for maintaining and developing the market garden to ensure there are crops to harvest and sell to the local community throughout the year. Along with helping to grow the customer base the role will involve developing the Urb Farm site and supporting the bee keeping social enterprise also based at the Urb Farm.
